Common Goal
Connects football with community-led opportunities and initiatives that support wellbeing, belonging and inclusion.
A playlist for big feelings. A little room for everything you carry.
An independent fan-made space, inspired by Viv’s openness. It does not replace therapy, trusted people, or professional support.
How are you feeling today? Draw a little face — or choose your own sky.
Inspired by conversations Viv has shared about mental wellbeing, this fan-made space is a small archive of comfort: songs, notes, football memories and places to find support. No one needs to explain how they feel here.
Pick a song, doodle in the margins, or sit with the page for a moment. There is no deadline to feel better.
On the centre circle, there is room to slow down. Follow the expanding circle as you breathe in, then let it become smaller as you breathe out.
You set the pace. Stopping is always okay.
Words from published interviews, folded into little letters. Open one to read the excerpt and see the source. These were not written as personal messages to this site.
Real interviews and initiatives where mental wellbeing, football and finding your voice meet. Published sources, not rumours or unverified social posts.
On opening up, mental wellbeing and learning to accept support.
Why football communities need places where people can speak openly.
Conversations about rest, vulnerability, pressure and self-care.
An audio project featuring footballers’ reflections, including Viv’s.
We only include material with a source that visitors can open. Social posts can be added once their original links are confirmed.
There are days when the thing that brings us back to ourselves is simply watching someone do what they love. A tiny highlight reel from official club videos.
Videos open on YouTube only when you choose them. We do not autoplay or load video trackers in this page.
Not everything needs to become a sentence. Sometimes a scribble says enough. This little page is yours: draw the feeling, make a mess, fill the silence. No judgment. No instructions.
Make a mark, however small. It's your page.
This globe is a little reminder: support exists beyond this website. Turn it or select a country to see an independently operated listening or support service.
Your exact location is never requested. A country may be suggested from your device language — it can be wrong. Please select the country you're actually in. If you're in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
You can always ask someone you trust for a little support.
Country-specific helplines cannot be guaranteed for every location. For other countries visit Find A Helpline.
This is not a substitute for professional care. Numbers are offered as a starting point and can change. Check each official website for hours, languages and suitability. For other locations, Find A Helpline ↗.
If you have the means and want to help, here are two organisations doing work beyond this little page. Learning about their work is enough, too.
Connects football with community-led opportunities and initiatives that support wellbeing, belonging and inclusion.
Works with children affected by conflict, supporting their protection, learning and wellbeing.
Donations are completely optional. Viv’s Dept. does not collect donations, payment details, or referral fees. If you're under 18, discuss any donation with a trusted adult first.
People before pages. This is a fan-made listening space, not therapy, a crisis service or medical advice. You can pause, stop or reach out to someone you trust at any point. The breathing exercise is optional and does not promise a result.
Your privacy matters. The check-in drawing is used only to change the colour of this page; it is not uploaded or analysed remotely. Doodles and notes stay in your browser and are not uploaded. Your chosen visual mode and song favourites can be saved locally on your device.
Leaving this page. Music, charity, article and support links open other sites, each with their own privacy rules. Fonts come from Google Fonts. We do not collect health information, exact location or donations.
Whatever today feels like, you don't have to make it make sense right now.
